Our Story

Chris and Nick started The Flower Pot Men with very little besides a love of gardens, a strong work ethic and a Fiat 500 packed with tools and plants.

What began with small maintenance jobs and plenty of determination has gradually grown into a business delivering both thoughtful domestic gardens and large commercial projects across the South West.

Despite that growth, the heart of the business has stayed the same. We still care for many of the gardens belonging to the people who supported us in those early days - the loyal clients who helped us get started and continue to shape who we are today.

Whether we’re maintaining a much-loved private garden or designing a large hospitality space, our approach remains the same: thoughtful work, practical knowledge and genuine pride in what we do.

    Chris

    CO-FOUNDER / GARDENER

    With more than 20 years of experience, Chris has a real talent for bringing structure and balance to gardens through careful pruning, shaping and attention to detail. He takes huge pride in creating spaces that feel natural, settled and full of character.

    Nick

    CO-FOUNDER / GARDENER

    Nick is always thinking about how a space will be used and enjoyed, whether that’s a private garden or a large hospitality project. Alongside the design side of the business, he’s just as happy in the greenhouse, kitchen garden or getting his boots dirty on site.

    PAWJECT MANAGER

    Specialising in customer greetings, wildlife monitoring, and morale boosting. Peggy can often be found supervising planting projects, patrolling freshly mown lawns, and ensuring every tea break meets company standards. Employee of the month, every month.
